- Join a sport outside of school with your own age group.( Chances are you will meet a few people who got to your school.)Also, you can meet people when you join a sport at your school.
- Find people in your classes that are nice and seem to like you.
- Ask them if you can eat with them at lunch. If they say: no= it's their loss, I have a club= I don't know so well but i don't want to be mean/I really have a club, Yes/sure/of course= you seem nice let's see how it goes.
- Join a club. Clubs really are a great way at meeting new people that are interested in the same things that you are.
- Once you meet a couple people they can introduce you to new people.

How to be social in High School
Here are some tips at being social:
Divorced Parents
Yes, My parents are divorced. But it is okay.
My parents have been divorced since I was two. When I was little it didn't bother me, but now that i am older I have a lot more to think about. Each parent has a different style of parenting. My mom's style is a little free floating style. My dad's, a little more tighter on the reigns. He is my father and I am still his little four year old girl who likes to dig up worms.Sometimes I have to drive back and fourth to each house(which are in different cities) just to get a text book or a pair of shoes that i might need. The worst part of it, though, is that I am surrounded by families that aren't divorced, but happily married, with kids that don't have to plan ahead for what they need a week ahead. With two parents that eat dinner with them, spend time with them, and parents that worry over them at the dinner table. My mother and father won't ever be like that. So it is hard, but it is okay. I am still alive.

Bullying IS real.
Bullying is real.
Some people might think bullying is just teasing, but the truth is, teasing or bullying, it still hurts.
So many people have been hurt by others, why let it continue to happen? Bullying can be making fun of someones hair, body, or clothes. You never know how it affects people until the aftermath. Sometimes bullying can lead to depression or suicide. Suicide is the third most prominent reason for death for 15-25 year olds. Try to be nicer to others, give at least five compliments to others, and treat others how you want to be treated. Don't finish a day with a feeling of regret, leave with a sense hope and accomplishment that you are starting to help the world recover from the idiocy of bullying
